Returns and Exchanges

Our goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We take pride in the quality of the products we sell. Offering great customer service is our top priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please follow the instructions below and we will be happy to help you to return or exchange your purchase.

Online Return Policy

We strive to make returns and exchanges as simple as possible. There is no need to call for return authorization. Please use the form below to notify us of your intent to return product purchased from

  • 30 Day Return Window
    Most merchandise can be returned within 30 days of purchase unless noted in our Return Policy Exceptions. Credit will not be given for product returned beyond 30 days without special authorization.
  • Credit Process
    Credit will be issued to the original form of payment. Original shipping charges will be deducted from the refund unless the return is the result of an error by Please note, bundled items need to be returned with all components for a full refund. Credit will be issued at the time the merchandise is successfully received in our warehouse. Depending on the form of payment tendered, it may take 2-10 business days from the start of the returns process for the credit to be applied to your account.
  • Return Shipping
    Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer unless the return is the result of an error by FrostGuard.
  • This Process Only Applies for Product Purchased Through
    If you purchased a FrostGuard through another website or retailer, returns and exchanges must be facilitated through that retailer. We cannot directly issue credit for purchases made from other websites. If you need a warranty replacement, please complete the below form for more information.

Preparing Your Return by Mail

  1. Complete the above form and include a printout of your confirmation email from the Return Authorization Form.
  2. Pack the item carefully in the original packaging.
  3. Affix the address provided in your confirmation email.
  4. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is the result of an error by FrostGuard.
  5. Maintain a copy of the tracking number, as this is the only method to confirm delivery to our warehouse.

This product is warranted to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for 3 years from the date of purchase.

Proof of date of purchase and a photo of the damage will be required.

We make every effort to replace items with the original color/pattern, but on occasion an alternate color/pattern choice may be requested.

Shipping Commitment

Shipping Availability 

We currently ship to the 48 Continental United States and Alaska. We do not ship to Hawaii, Canada or overseas. Please note that due to high shipping rates, Alaska is excluded from our $4.99 flat rate shipping. Shipping fees for Alaska will be calculated at checkout based on weight, though we absorb a portion of the shipping cost. 

Standard Shipping (Continental United States)

We commit to shipping your package within 1-2 business days (usually 1). We may use USPS or FedEx ground at our discretion. From the time the package is received by the carrier, it may take 5-8 business days arrive. Your packages may occasionally be delivered on a Saturday, but this is not guaranteed. 

FedEx 2 Day (Continental United States) 

Orders placed before 10 AM CST, Monday - Friday will be processed same day.  Orders placed after that time will ship the next business day. Packages shipped using FedEx are delivered Monday - Friday (excluding Holidays). Packages may occasionally be delivered on a Saturday, but this is not guaranteed.  Track your package at for your estimated delivery day.

Limitation of Shipping Commitment

Our shipping commitment is based on the accurate and timely manner in which we provide your package to the shipping carrier (USPS and FedEx). Carriers may experience delays in package handling, especially during the winter and holiday season. These delays are unfortunate, but outside of FrostGuard's control. Shipments delayed by the carrier cannot be compensated by FrostGuard. Thank you for your understanding.

Customer service and the distribution center will be closed the following dates:

Order processing time excludes these days. 


What size do I need?

We developed 2 sizes that protect the essential viewing area of most cars, trucks and SUVs.

Use our Sizing Chart for recommendations for the top 200 vehicles sold in the U.S. Don't see your vehicle listed? Just look for a similar vehicle!

NOTE: X-Large is only recommended for full-size SUVs, minivans and large trucks. Buying too large a size can result in a loose fit, leading to less protection for your vehicle, as it allows for elements such as moisture and wind to come in contact with your windshield.

What model is best for me?

Plus is a great, budget conscious model, but you should know that it does not have a wiper cover.

Signature is our best selling model and includes a wiper cover, security panel and Fit-Fast elastic straps to ensure a snug fit. 

Deluxe is our most comprehensive model, with two security panels to anchor both sides of the windshield cover to the vehicle.

How do I install my FrostGuard?

Set-up is simple, and the Fit-Fast attachment system helps ensure a snug fit. Place the appropriate Fit-Fast loop over your passenger side mirror. Lay the FrostGuard across the windshield. Pull the second Fit-Fast loop over the driver’s side mirror. Center the FrostGuard. You may notice a little bit of exposed windshield - that isthat’s normal. 

What elastic loop should I use?

FrostGuard’s Fit-Fast® strap system is a 3-loop elastic attachment that allows for an adjustable fit.  The Fit-Fast system secures the windshield cover to the side-view mirrors on either side of the vehicle. Our patent pending design will accommodate mirror sizes of both older and newer vehicles, big and small.

How do I roll up and store my FrostGuard windshield cover?

Will it stick to my windshield?

The weather resistant PVC lining is designed to provide a slick, non-stick surface. In extreme situations, such as ice storms, your vehicle may need to warm to loosen the cover before removing.

What prevents someone from taking it off my car?

Deluxe, Signature and Plus have security panels that shut in your driver's side door. The panels are wide enough to deter thieves, thin enough not to disrupt your door seal and with a PVC tube inside that prevents it from being pulled through.

How do I protect from wind getting underneath my FrostGuard?

Always choose the loop pairings that provide the most secure fit against the front of your windshield; the fit should be taught and flat. This will prevent sudden gusts of wind from getting underneath your FrostGuard.

Can the FrostGuard be used on the back windshield of my vehicle?

The product is designed for use on the front windshield only.

Can I leave the FrostGuard on while I run the car via remote start?

Yes, this will not damage the FrostGuard.

What is the best way to clean my FrostGuard?

Spot-clean with mild soap and cold water.

Can the FrostGuard be used as a sunshield?

The FrostGuard is designed to block frost, snow and ice in cold weather.  It should not be used as a sunshade or in extremely hot weather. It’s sunshine companion, SolarGuard is great for this purpose and keeps vehicles 55% cooler by blocking heat at the point of attack.

Will you get NFL FrostGuards back?

The FrostGuard NFL Sport line was special edition, and due to sell through of many of the teams has been discontinued. We do not have plans to refresh the line at this time.

Can I get FrostGuard with my local sports team or business logo on it?

FrostGuard is available for custom imprinting. There is a minimum order of 50 pieces. Please use the contact form to let us know more about your specific request.
